THE EVIDENCE PROJECT
Through social media our lives have become an open book. Pictures, wall posts, and tweets present data about our lives that can be informative or utterly inconsequential. These small pieces of ourselves are evidence of our relationships, personalities, and lifestyles.

  • The main concept behind this project was to shock the target audience with the amount of information that can be found about them on the internet and to teach them ways to protect themselves online. The two poster infographics were the first stage of development. Each poster includes 100 names or portraits and a series of posts or images associated with each person. The posters utilize a circular design that reflects an online network map. Each person is connected to their information through a colored line, representing an emotion associated with that information. 
     
    A microsite was then designed to carry the message created by the two infographics to the online community. The typeface utilized for the site is Gotham, whose bold, rounded forms are friendly and powerful at the same time. The color palette of the microsite is the same as that for the poster infographics. The purpose of the microsite is to provide the target audience with information on the
